Well, Everyone, this little girl turned ten months old last Saturday. I can't even comprehend that. This time last year, I was attending baby showers thrown in honor of her impending arrival, and now here we are, already thinking about her first birthday.
I was going through some of our photos from last year, and it seems so strange how the time has passed so quickly. I mean, four months have passed since she learned how to crawl and climb. Four months already!?!
Anyhow, I can clearly remember thinking back in March that it felt like I'd just had those showers. So I'm quite positive that we'll be celebrating Ave's first birthday in the blink of an eye, too. I'm not ready for her to grow up!
Moving along... Mom and Jim are in town right now, so I'll have to post a bit about our visit later. For now, I wanted to leave you with her 9 month photos (which I'm embarrassed to admit that we just took a week and a half ago). We've been taking these photos in this green chair with her teddy bear every month since she was one month old to show how she's grown. Every month, we end up taking more and more because she is just so much more animated every day. It's getting quite ridiculous - we took almost 50 pictures this time! And we can't even figure out how to whittle them down yet!
So here's a few of this sweet little dolly that we just can't even remember life without, nor would we ever want to. She makes my heart grow wider and wider every moment of every day. I never knew how much I could love one tiny little being, and yet we're just getting started. We wish you all could be around her so much more so you could all enjoy just a taste of how wonderful she is.
