What a difference a week makes!

Well, we are officially within two weeks of our due date! According to multiple reference books, 85-88% of babies are born within two weeks of their due dates, either before or after... so you know what that means.

For those of you who don't live in Georgia, can you believe that we had snow last weekend!?! And here we are now, enjoying 70 degree weather!

Great-Granny Messick, Grandma Tallant, and Aunties Melissa and Julia came to visit us today. Not many have seen our completed nursery, and they were hankering (that's for you, Auntie Julia) to do so. Great-Granny also knitted Baby Reagin some really beautiful sweaters, caps and booties, which she presented to us today. In addition to these, baby girl also inherited a few really sweet outfits from Grandma Tallant as well as some tried and true books. We were really grateful that they made the drive out to see us, and we hope to see them at the house much more often once our sweet little girl makes her entrance into the world. Everyone in all sides of our families has a standing invitation to visit our little family whenever they'd like (and, of course, we'll be making the trek out to visit all of them as well).

As far as baby news goes, not much to tell so far. I had some uncomfortable muscle spasms in my back off and on for a 24-hour period midweek, but not much else. Great-Granny insisted that the baby is lower now even than when she first got to the house today. (Ed and I think she's lower, too, and I must admit, she feels lower as well.)

Ed managed to get his on-call time switched to this weekend, as opposed to next (not sure what they were thinking...). It's been going smoothly so far.

We have a long day ahead of us on Tuesday, when we'll be going back to the OB for our 38 week check-up and then interviewing pediatricians throughout the rest of the day. Wish us luck.

PS - Our good friends, Dusty and Kelly, are due in just over a week. These next two weeks could prove to be really crazy, yet really exciting, for us. It's hard to believe this chapter of our lives is already almost closed.
