Happy December everyone! We hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving! Here's a quick look back at our November...

Avery saw her first GA Tech game at Bobby Dodd Stadium. We went to the GT/Wake Forest Game on November 7th with a few co-workers. The jet flyover after the national anthem was super loud, but other than that Avery had a great time at the game. She made it through the sunny first quarter, then rested on Mommy for the 2nd quarter. We decided to go at Halftime - didn't want to push our luck and over stimulate her - heaven forbid she get traumatized and grow up to be a dawg....

After the game, Ave caught her first cold. We spent most of the week trying to comfort her back to health. Of course, she still had lots of good playtime and gave us very sweet moments to take some nice pictures...

Once Avery got better, it was already the weekend. We took her to Anna Kate's first birthday party (Anna Kate is the daughter of one of Katie's Brenau classmates and another patron of the Doula firm we used). At the party, Avery got to play with some new friends and all of Anna Kate's interesting toys. Right after that, we went to another birthday party - this time it was a 30th Bday for one of Katie's former co-workers. We had to make an early exit to pack for Denver, but the party was lovely and Avery got to meet even more new people.

On Sunday morning we hopped on a flight and headed west to go visit Nana! (Nana even sat next to us on the flight out!) We spent all of Thanksgiving week out in Denver. The big feast was at Aunt Sandy's house - we didn't get a group photo (oops!), but all of the Colorado-dwelling members of Katie's family were there (The Colorobinsons?) Aunt Marty, Uncle Jeff, Erica, and Melody also made the long drive from St. Louis to be there.

Apparently, I caught Avery's cold from the week before (or something else from somewhere else). Halfway through the week, I came down with a nasty sinus cold. My energy pretty much dropped to zero, and I spent the rest of the trip trying to avoid contaminating others.

From the right: Alec, Gavin, Avery, & Conner on Nana's couch. Avery is old enough to actually play with stuff with the boys this trip. Alec and Avery had a good time with the Stacking half-balls, and Conner shared his stuffed Kitty with Avery early in the trip.

On the way home, we lucked out with an open seat next to us! Avery was such a good baby on both flights - she read some of Daddy's book after we landed and put her in the open seat. Most of the time she slept on the way home.

Now that we are back in Atlanta, I am feeling much better, Avery is readjusting to her sleep routine (though we are all jet-lagged), and Mommy has come down with my crud (sorry!). We also got to see Mimi, Pop, Grandma (Tallant), Grandpa (Tallant), (great) Granny, and Great-Grandaddy all on Sunday!

We sure were busy in November!
